  14. I use TELIX for batch processing on some of my workstations, and it
  15. works fairly well .  One mainframe computer must be dialed up on a
  16. regular basis, and data transmission is rather slow .  Scripts in
  17. TELIX seem to offer more control than PROCOMM, but TELIX uses the
  18. original KERMIT protocol .  The people running the mainframe said to
  19. increase the KERMIT block size to one or two thousand, but TELIX, nor
  20. the original KERMIT protocol, allow a size of over 94 bytes .  The
  21. people at TELIX said to find MS-KERM 3.0, and use it as an external
  22. protocol .  I am not able to find this however .  Has anyone seen it,
  23. or does anyone have suggestions ?  If anyone knows where I might call
  24. or E-mail to get information, please advise me .
